Peregrinations I was inveigled into Nancy's for quiz night (we came second) but the real bonus was that Helm and Slappy of Small Wonder were playing downstairs...

I've missed their musicianship for too long but the rabbit alone is worth coming out for. Anyway, later on Helm reminded me that he is with the Dubious Brothers tonight (13th) at The Waterfront and the full Small Wonder are at The Watermans tomorrow (and fortnightly), also somewhere else on Friday (can't remember) but, anyway, I can't be out every night.

I also forgot to mention that I caught The Jazz Foundation at the Pavilion last Friday. They are there until early September and well worth a visit. Although Ray Roberts is sorely missed (get well soon, Ray) John Cox admirably filled his shoes on baritone thro soprano.
