Beach Art this Sunday (6th March) & Respect with top local music in April...
Just to let you know of an enviromentally friendly Art event taking place on
Swanpool Beach, this Sunday from 9.30am. It's being run by two mature students - Sally and Sarah - from the Contemporary Crafts course at Tremough. They'll be creating art things with clay and sand and flotsam on the beach and they'll be looking for participation from any passing souls. Please show support if you're in the area, the more the merrier. Ars Longa Vita Brevis but they'll be wanting the tide to wash it all away!
Also, while I'm here, this year's Respect festival takes place on the Moor on Saturday 9th April, see press for more details closer to the time. But just to remind you, Falmouth Respect Day is a multi-cultural and diversity day, where difference is celebrated and not a collecting tin in sight. Arts, crafts and music, both on the Moor and in the Methodist church from 11am till 4pm. Come along and dare to be different.
Cheers
Gerald
