Music System 7 in the form of Steve Hillage and Miquette Gaudy are appearing at the Princess Pavilion, Falmouth on Saturday 13 August...

A refined and defined new streamlined sound will be experienced from their hypnotic new Encantado album. Exhilarating and elusive, S7 blend sounds and shades in their own unique ‘ambient techno’ style creating a diverse musical soundscape.

System 7 were one of the first techno groups to play live sets and have continued to flourish and develop into the powerful live experience. Their current live set features several new tracks from ‘Encantado’ cleverly mixed with a selection of favourites. Always staying true to their basic love of house music, this latest album is faster and wilder, fitting in well with the deep tech-house and psy-trance genres. With no other group can you hear psychedelic guitar, electronic space atmospheres and cutting-edge techno grooves in the same set.

The band’s unique style has gained praise from leading DJs such as Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier and Derrick May (collaborator on the ‘Mysterious Traveller’ album).

While employing some trademark dreamy ambience in their unique palette of sounds, System 7's live music is much more beats orientated, as is shown by their ability to go on at peak time at a major dance event and rock the crowd with their live set. Get ready for an exhilarating live voyage where we are all Encantado !!

Show starts 8.30pm tickets £12 in advance and £13.50 on the door. Tel 01326 211222.
