Music One of the most exciting lineups of recent times is set to take Penryn by storm, when Tom Jenkinson AKA Squarepusher will be bringing his schizoid jazz inspired dance act to The Stannary on November 19th...

With a truly glittering lineup consisting of local chaps DJ Luke Vibert, DJ Grant Rephlex (one half of the Aphex Twin home, Rephlex Records), with internationally acclaimed Pierre Bastien and DJ Plaid completing the lineup.

Squarepusher's set has amazed audiences recently at Glastonbury and Fuji Rock, blending together an amazing back catalogue of influences to make a seamless, deeply impressive and unique sound he himself has christened "brain dance".

Pierre Bastien will be bringing his incredible "mecanicum" - a mechanical looping machine which mimics digital looping in an extreme "Heath Robinsonesque" way, creating a myriad of sounds and casting huge shadows.

The visual side of the show is also not to be underestimated, with a stunning lights and projections show it's not to be missed!

With local boys Grant Wilson-Claridge and Luke Vibert (both of whom used to DJ at the Bowgie back in the day) completing the lineup, the night is almost homegrown!

Tickets are 11 (subject to a booking fee) and are available from Solo in Truro, Jam in Falmouth, www.seetickets.com (0871 2200260) and the Tremough Campus Student Union (Students only)
