A great night last Sat. but sadly, too few to support a good cause & have some good scoff & hear fine music.

Those of us who were lucky enough to be there were royally entertained by Graham, who MC'd with his local yarns. Hunter's Moon were new to me with their shanties and amusing patter. If I'm doing the Oyster Festival again this Oct they'll make a good closer. Also it was lovely to hear Geoff and Michaela Smith again - such a talented family! They were in folky mode with another couple (gtr, lute & vocs + concertina/ vocs) and went under the name String Box. Repertoire from Yankee Clipper to an interesting I Shot the Sheriff. They've got a newish CD of Baha'i songs which I'll revu soon.
