Starting on Tuesday the 8th October at 7pm, the gig kicks off with a terrific line-up of familiar faces – Sarah Wearne McDonagh on saxes, and the trio ‘Mirage’ with Matt Johns-pno, Chris Jones-bs, Keith Michael-dr. Each week will have a variety of guests and rhythm section players – see the gigs list here for details.

With its newly installed café bar, the Performance Centre venue looks to be a promising addition to the local jazz calendar. The event is free – as is the parking – and local buses run to and from the campus till midnight. Easiest access by car to the performance centre is from the rear entrance:

From the A39 Asda roundabout, turn left onto Kernick Road. After 300m turn left into Parkengue. Follow the road, curving to left , and just before the end, turn right for The Performance Centre. The car park is on the left near the entrance, then walk round corner to first buildings on left.
